An 11kW onboard AC charger tops up the battery from empty overnight at home, while 80kW DC fast charging takes the Taikon 5 Electric from 30 to 80 per cent in approx 30 minutes5 — enough time for a coffee stop, not a lunch break. Home charging 0–100% in approx 7 hours5 on an 11kW AC wallbox. Public fast charging 30–80% in approx 30 minutes5 on an 80kW DC charger.
